AptiStockX 3.1 for macOS is now available from the Mac App Store, marking a major new distribution milestone for the local-first desktop charting application.

AptiStockX 3.1 is now available on the Mac App Store. This is a major milestone for AptiStockX and gives Mac users a familiar, Apple-reviewed way to discover, install, and update the local-first desktop charting application.

A Major AptiStockX Milestone

Apple has approved AptiStockX 3.1 for macOS and the AptiStockX Pro non-consumable In-App Purchase for distribution. The release brings the current AptiStockX desktop workflow to an official Mac App Store listing under AptiStock LLC.

AptiStock began serving chart users in 2005. Reaching the Mac App Store with AptiStockX 3.1 is another step in carrying that long-running desktop product forward with a modern, native application.

A Familiar Way to Install on Mac

Mac users can now open the official AptiStockX App Store listing and install through Apple's standard Mac App Store experience. Store availability and displayed pricing are controlled and localized by Apple.

The App Store edition remains local-first: charts, downloaded market data, watchlists, workspaces, settings, and research files stay on the user's Mac during normal use. Optional market-data and AI services connect only when the user chooses and configures them.

Start with Basic, Unlock Pro Once

The Mac App Store edition can be downloaded and used with the Basic feature set without purchasing Pro. AptiStockX Pro is offered inside the app as a one-time, non-consumable purchase rather than a subscription.

StoreKit manages the purchase and Restore Purchases flow. The Mac App Store edition does not use AptiStockX direct-license activation or an external checkout.

Choose the Distribution Channel That Fits

The signed and notarized direct macOS package and the Homebrew option remain available from the AptiStockX download page for users who prefer a traditional installer. The Mac App Store edition is the Store-managed alternative.

Store purchases and direct licenses are separate distribution entitlements. Choose the Mac App Store edition if you want Apple's purchase and installation flow, or choose the direct edition if you prefer AptiStock's direct installer and licensing path.
